Jerseys are borrowed by all the players and returned at the end of the season. If you’re registering new players, we will need to see their birth certificate, passport or licence to verify their age.

We take FairPlay vouchers for players under 18 but you must bring them down to sign on. They will cover the first $150 of your registration. If you are still waiting for a voucher, you will need to make full payment and we will refund you once the voucher has arrived. To see if you’re eligible, visit https://www.qld.gov.au/recreation/sports/funding/fairplay/apply. The current round is open; act fast as they often run out.

Rep soccer – North Zone

Our club is part of the North Zone, the representative zone for the QCSA. Teams will be formed on the basis of friendly games played in the pre-season and by invitation. All eligible players will receive communication from the club on relevant dates. State Titles will be held over the May long weekend in 2023 up on the Sunshine Coast.

About our club

All teams (U6 and upwards) train at John Oxley Reserve in Murrumba Downs. Training is usually Wednesday afternoons for juniors and Wednesday nights for seniors. Training starts February or March (depending on age groups), with games starting in March for U6-10 and seniors and April for U11-16 and going until mid-August. Successful teams will have finals through til mid September.

Junior teams play Saturday mornings from 8am to 1pm (younger teams play earlier, older teams play later) and senior teams (men and women) usually play Saturday afternoons. We also have one Friday night over 45s mens team.

Our brand new BFQ Juniors competition sees all Tiny Tots and U6-U10 playing all games at the one location – John Oxley Reserve.  The new BFQ Juniors competition will feature themed weeks during the season (e.g. Zooper Dooper Week, a Pink Week to raise money for breast cancer research, a World Cup week, etc.). A revamp of our fields 2, 3, 4 & 5 will allow us a space on field 2 to conduct Clinics in the morning and also expand our Tiny Tots Program on a Saturday. The price for the new competition will be the same incredibly low cost, however we plan to start the U6-10 season earlier in March with the first two weeks as FREE clinics, and competition games beginning mid-March. We will finish the season at the same time as we currently do (August/September) meaning overall a greater value-for-money offering.

U11-16s play an across-Brisbane competition. Half the games are played at ‘home’, and half will be ‘away’ games played at various south/west locations. These players will also have additional opportunities for coaching clinics, pre-season games & mid-season competitions as well as the usual end-of-season final series.

Seniors play northside locations either Saturday afternoons or Friday nights. Bring your family, friends, girlfriends, boyfriends, partners along, the more the merrier. What is better than playing with your mates! Options for fulltime and casual players in some teams.
