Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Updated as at 01-Jan-2022 3:28pm

Following the statement issued by the Queensland Government today, 1 January 2022, and in line with advice given by the Chief Health Officer “masks be worn indoors everywhere except in the family home and workplaces where it is unsafe to do so”, masks will now be mandatory at all of our gatherings at Rivers Baptist, starting Sunday 2 January. We ask that you continue to follow COVID19 Guidelines by checking in when you arrive to church, wear a mask, maintain social distance and practice good hygiene. We are aware of members of our community currently having to isolate for a period of time. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to one of our pastors for support in any way!

As usual, the advice by the Queensland Government health officials is that people who are in the vulnerable category, sick, have come into contact with a person who has tested positive for COVID-19 or are displaying COVID-19 symptoms should stay home.

As always we will be live-streaming our AM gathering. Links to our live-streams can be found on the church website, the church Facebook page or directly at our YouTube channel.

Please continue to follow our Facebook page for the most current updates.
