SHACK is almost here! Register now!
SHACK is a three day holiday club for kids in yrs 3-6 thats jam packed with games, music, competitions, team challenges and more. All your favourite things are back – Dunny of Doom, SHARKADE, Plinko, GagaBall and of course, our big events each afternoon.
We have been running SHACK for over a decade now and reckon it is the best holiday club around. We work really hard to make it extremely fun for every kid that attends while keeping the cost as low as possible. We are serious about safety. All leaders hold Blue Cards and have passed our Safe Church Training.
Key Details:
SHACK runs 9am to 3pm on Wednesday 23, Thursday 24 and Friday 25 September.
Sign-in runs from 8:45–9:15am inside the auditorium foyer. Please note that we’re unable to provide care before 8:45. Parents/carers are welcome to return from 2:50pm for Sign-Out. At 3pm, when the program concludes, parents/carers who have completed sign out will be invited to collect them from their small group leaders in the auditorium.
What to Bring: Please make sure your child wears enclosed footwear and a hat and brings a water bottle each day. We’ll provide everything else, including morning tea and lunch.
Major Activities: On top of the big group games, rotations, music, sports and more that happen every day, each day has a major event. Wednesday is our massive Carnival with snow cones, fairy floss, jumping castle, side show alley games with heaps of prizes. On Thursday we are booked in for 2 hours at Lawnton Laser Zone. On Friday we have water based activities including slip ‘n slide, foam canon, dunny of doom and more.
Teams: SHACK veterans will know that each year we have 4 teams (Red, Blue, Yellow, and Green). Teams will be finalised on Monday 21 September. We’ll send you a message letting you know your child’s team. Children are welcome to get into the spirit by dressing in their team colour, but there’s no expectation to buy anything special.
