James: Good News and Good Works
A Faith that Lasts
So many of life’s circumstances can shake our faith in God, but together, we’re encouraged to hold on, to support one another and patently wait until the day when we’ll experience Jesus and his kingdom in their fullness.
Draw Near to God
When we draw near to God, we discover how close he is to us. As we humble ourselves before him and set apart our lives to him, he lifts us up.
Little Things Make a Big Difference
There is a wisdom in the ways of Jesus that can bear fruit in our lives, where our words and actions become a source of life for others.
Real Faith
As we learn to totally trust in the Good News of Jesus and his Kingdom, this wholehearted faith produces good works in our lives.
Listening and Doing
A life that trusts God’s wisdom gets fully submerged in the messiness of the world, loving the most vulnerable. It produces a life where our practice of religion doesn’t get in the road of loving others, and it’s exactly what God’s looking for!
